Walter C. Weber, 71, of St. Louis County passed away Tuesday, Sept. 13, 2005, in St. Louis.
He was born Nov. 10, 1933, at Burfordville, son of August and Emma Nagel Weber. The family later moved to Jackson, where he attended St. Paul Lutheran School and Church.
Walter graduated from Jackson High School, served in the U.S. Army and moved to St. Louis, where he was employed with McDonnell-Douglas Aircraft, retiring after 35 years.
He was married to Melva Huttegger, originally from Cape Girardeau, and was a member of Immanuel Lutheran Church in Olivette, Mo.
He is the father of Brian Weber of Heber City, Utah; Karin Weber Stirrat of Dallas, Texas; grandfather of Kalina Weber; and brother of Hilda Weber Grebing of Jackson.
Walter was loved by many in St. Louis and Southeast Missouri. His family and close friends will miss him dearly.
Visitation will be held from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Monday, followed by the funeral, at Baumann Colonial Chapel, 2504 Woodson Road in Overland, Mo. Interment will be in Immanuel Lutheran Church Cemetery.
Memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society or American Association of Naturopathic Physicians.
