KELSO -- Walter Leo Dohogne, 82, of Kelso died Monday, Dec. 23, 1991, at St. Francis Medical Center in Cape Girardeau.
He was born July 15, 1909, in Kelso, the son of Emil and Dora Welter Dohogne. On May 2, 1933, he married Augusta R. Dumey in Sikeston. She survives of the home.
He was a retired farmer and a member of St. Augustine Catholic Church in Kelso.
Other survivors include two sons, Marvin "Butch" Dohogne of Scott City and Melvin "Tom" Dohogne of Fenton; two daughters, Shirley Boham of Kelso and Mary Jean Strack of Cape Girardeau; four sisters, Marie Robert, Olivia Gerecke and Alene Wulfers, all of Cape Girardeau, and Virginia Randolph of St. Louis; nine grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.
Friends may call from 4-8 p.m. Wednesday at Amick-Burnett Funeral Chapel in Scott City. Funeral mass will be said at 10 a.m. Thursday at St. Augustine Catholic Church in Kelso, with the Rev. Msgr. John Westhues officiating. Burial will follow at the church cemetery.
