MORLEY, Mo. -- Walter W. "Butch" Gordon III, 63, of Morley passed away Friday, Feb. 8, 2013, at Saint Francis Medical Center in Cape Girardeau.

He was born Nov. 11, 1949, in Chester, Pa., son of Walter William and Ethel Martin Gordon Jr. He and Carla Martin were married in 1983.

Loving survivors include his wife; three sons, Joshua D. Gordon, Walter W. Gordon IV and Robert J. Webb; a daughter, Beverly Gordon; a sister, Bonnie Lee Gordon; and 18 grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents; a daughter, Rebeccah Webb-Snyder; and a granddaughter, Keeli Badman.

A private memorial service will be at a later date at the Missouri State Veterans Cemetery in Bloomfield, Mo.

McCombs Funeral Home and Cremation Center in Jackson is in charge of arrangements.
