CHAFFEE, Mo. -- Walter E. Daniels, 70, of Chaffee passed away Sunday, June 18, 2006, at his home. He was born Sept. 27, 1935, in New Madrid County, son of Edward and Pearl Annis Daniels. He and Bonnie Storey were married Oct. 16, 1959, in St. Louis. She died Oct. 12, 1997...

CHAFFEE, Mo. -- Walter E. Daniels, 70, of Chaffee passed away Sunday, June 18, 2006, at his home.

He was born Sept. 27, 1935, in New Madrid County, son of Edward and Pearl Annis Daniels. He and Bonnie Storey were married Oct. 16, 1959, in St. Louis. She died Oct. 12, 1997.

Walter was a radio dispatcher more than 40 years with Auto Tire and Parts in Cape Girardeau.

Survivors include four daughters, Barbara Melvin and Lisa Daniels of Cape Girardeau, Carol Sherman and Brenda Meehan of Jackson; two brothers, Charles Daniels of St. Charles, Mo., Jim Daniels of Arizona; five grandchildren; and a great-grandson.

He was preceded in death by two brothers.

Friends may call at Morgan Funeral Home in Advance from 10 a.m. to service time Friday.

The funeral will be at 1 p.m. Friday at the funeral home. Burial will be in Morgan Memorial Park in Advance.
