PERRYVILLE, Mo. -- Wallace "Wally" W. Schnurbusch, 80, of Perryville died Sunday, May 19, 2002, at his home.
He was born Nov. 1, 1921, at Applecreek, Mo., son of Joseph L. and Hermina Wingerter Schnurbusch. He and Rose L. Gibbar were married Sept. 6, 1944.
Schnurbusch was a bricklayer. He was a member of St. Vincent de Paul Catholic Church and a World War II United States Navy veteran.
Survivors include two sons, David Schnurbusch of St. Mary, Mo., and Dale Schnurbusch of Sedgewickville, Mo.; four daughters, Patricia Zoellner of Uniontown, Mo., Carol Buchheit of Perryville, Barbara Ponder of Perryville and Joan Hotop of Perryville; two brothers, Kenneth Schnurbusch of St. Louis, Mo., and Flavian Schnurbusch of Applecreek; four sisters, Rosella Kutz of Perryville, Wilberta Amschler of Perryville, Delphine Schnurbusch of Perryville and Dorothy Buchheit of Cape Girardeau; 19 grandchildren; and 13 great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents, two brothers and a sister.
Friends may call at Young and Sons Funeral Home from 4 to 9 p.m. today or from 6:30 to 9:30 a.m. Tuesday.
Funeral mass will be at 10 a.m. Tuesday at St. Vincent de Paul Church. The Revs. Kevin Fausz and Joe Williams will officiate.
Burial will take place at the Mount Hope Cemetery at Perryville.
