PERRYVILLE, Mo. -- Wallace M. Berkbigler, 83, of Perryville died Monday, March 14, 2011, at Perry County Memorial Hospital. He was a World War II veteran of the U.S. Army. Visitation will be at Young and Sons Funeral Home from 4 to 9 p.m. Wednesday, and from 6:30 to 9:15 a.m. Thursday. A Catholic wake will be at 7:30 p.m. Wednesday. PERRYVILLE, Mo. -- Wallace M. Berkbigler, 83, of Perryville died Monday, March 14, 2011, at Perry County Memorial Hospital.

He was a World War II veteran of the U.S. Army.

Visitation will be at Young and Sons Funeral Home from 4 to 9 p.m. Wednesday, and from 6:30 to 9:15 a.m. Thursday. A Catholic wake will be at 7:30 p.m. Wednesday. The rosary will be recited at 8:30 a.m. Thursday.

Funeral Mass will be at 10 a.m. Thursday at St. Joseph Catholic Church in Highland, Mo., with the Rev. Robert Brockland officiating. Burial will be in the church cemetery, with military graveside rites provided by American Legion and Delta Team.
