MARBLE HILL -- Vivian Clare Thomas, 82, of Marble Hill died Tuesday, July 21, 1998, at her home. She was born Jan. 25, 1916, in Salina, Kan., daughter of Sam and Nellie Waller Farley. She married Claude Thomas, who died in 1970. Thomas had been a waitress and owner of Biz Thomas' Place. MARBLE HILL -- Vivian Clare Thomas, 82, of Marble Hill died Tuesday, July 21, 1998, at her home.

She was born Jan. 25, 1916, in Salina, Kan., daughter of Sam and Nellie Waller Farley. She married Claude Thomas, who died in 1970.

Thomas had been a waitress and owner of Biz Thomas' Place. She was a member of Seventh-Day Adventist in Cape Girardeau, VFW Auxiliary 5900 and American Legion Auxiliary in St. Louis.

There are no known survivors.

She was preceded in death by a daughter, a grandchild, two brothers, and two sisters.

Funeral will be at 10 a.m. Thursday at Hutchings Funeral Chapel. The Rev. Fred Ritter will officiate, with burial in Baker Cemetery.
