Vivian Lucille Lange, 89, of Egypt Mills died Saturday, Feb. 6, 2010, at Mineral Area Regional Medical Center in Farmington, Mo. She was born Feb. 13, 1920, in St. Louis, to Clarence Alvin and Jessie Jane Hafner Bishop. She and Otis Martin Lange were married Nov. 14, 1936, in Arkansas. He preceded her in death Jan. 17, 2000...

Vivian Lucille Lange, 89, of Egypt Mills died Saturday, Feb. 6, 2010, at Mineral Area Regional Medical Center in Farmington, Mo.

She was born Feb. 13, 1920, in St. Louis, to Clarence Alvin and Jessie Jane Hafner Bishop. She and Otis Martin Lange were married Nov. 14, 1936, in Arkansas. He preceded her in death Jan. 17, 2000.

Lange was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church of Egypt Mills, where she was involved in many church activities. Her hobbies included quilting and gardening.

Survivors include a son, James Lange of Bonne Terre, Mo.; five daughters, Mary Thiele and Betty Hengst of Egypt Mills, Patricia Moore of Ste. Genevieve, Mo., Donna Farrow of Oriole, Brenda Blackwell of Oak Ridge; a sister, Charlotte Sue Windeknecht of Mountain Home, Ark.; 12 grandchildren; 27 great-grandchildren; and 14 great-great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents, husband and two brothers.

The funeral will be at 10:30 a.m. today at Trinity Lutheran Church of Egypt Mills, with the Rev. Kevin Olson officiating. Burial will be in the church cemetery.

Pallbearers will be grandsons and great-grandsons.

Ford and Sons Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.

Memorial contributions may be given to Egypt Mills Trinity Lutheran Church.
