Vivian LaMar, 83, of Cape Girardeau died Thursday, May 7, 1998, at Southeast Missouri Hospital.
She was born March 2, 1915, in Arkansas, daughter of George and Catherine Lincoln Welker. She and Charles C. LaMar were married Sept. 15, 1946, in Cape Girardeau. He died Feb. 4, 1985.
LaMar had worked at Superior Electric Co. She was a member of First Pentecostal Church.
Survivors include a son, Ken LaMar of Cape Girardeau; a daughter, Janet Brewington of Marble Hill; three grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by nine brothers, two sisters, and a granddaughter.
Friends may call at Ford and Sons Sprigg Street Chapel from 4-8 p.m. today.
Graveside service will be at 10 a.m. Saturday at Fairmount Cemetery, with the Rev. Bradford Robinson officiating.
