Virginia Mae Wylder, 79, of Scott City died Tuesday, Dec. 26, 2006, at Ratliff Care Center in Cape Girardeau.
She was born Feb. 11, 1927, in St. Louis, daughter of Otto Charles and Rosiena Philemena Zoellner Heisserer. She and Everett Harold Wylder were married Oct. 24, 1942, at Benton, Mo. He died Dec. 4, 1975.
Wylder was a former machine operator at Ely Walker.
Survivors include four daughters, Pat (Bobby) LeDure of Commerce, Mo., Joyce (Joe) Smith of Scott City, Judy Menz of Cape Girardeau, Wilma (Lonnie) Stubenrauch of Advance, Mo.; eight grandchildren, Kim Venable, Jeff LeDure, Sheryl Simpkins, Tammy Mouser, Jerry Menz, Kevin and Keith Stubenrauch, Sheila Cantrell; and 18 great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by a brother.
Friends may call at Amick-Burnett Funeral Chapel in Scott City from 5 to 8 p.m. today.
The funeral will be at 10 a.m. Thursday at the chapel, with the Revs. David Coon and David Dohogne officiating. Burial will be in Lightner Cemetery.
