Virginia Ruth Lohmeier, 79, 275 Ute, died Thursday, July 20, 1995, at her home. She was born April 27, 1916, in Cape Girardeau, daughter of John A. and Alvina S. Blackwendt Inman. She and Wilbert Lohmeier were married Aug. 21, 1938, in Blytheville, Ark. He died April 8, 1991...

Virginia Ruth Lohmeier, 79, 275 Ute, died Thursday, July 20, 1995, at her home.

She was born April 27, 1916, in Cape Girardeau, daughter of John A. and Alvina S. Blackwendt Inman. She and Wilbert Lohmeier were married Aug. 21, 1938, in Blytheville, Ark. He died April 8, 1991.

Lohmeier was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church.

Survivors include a son, John Lohmeier of Cape Girardeau; a sister, Helen Dodds of Sarasota, Fla., and a grandson.

She was preceded in death by two brothers and a sister.

Friends may call at Ford and Sons Sprigg Street Chapel from 4-8 p.m. today.

Funeral service will be at 11 a.m. Saturday at the chapel, with the Rev. Steven MacDougall officiating. Burial will be in Memorial Park.
