VIRGINIA LUNDIN

Virginia C. Lundin, 71, of Cape Girardeau died Sunday, June 15, 1997, at St. Francis Medical Center.

She was born Feb. 9, 1926, in Waldo, Ark., son of Henry and Josie Thrailkill Wilson. She and Lonnie D. May were married Dec. 25, 1948, in Camden, Ark. He died Oct. 1, 1964. She later married Carl Lundin Aug. 31, 1968, in Pine Bluff, Ark.

Lundin lived in Sikeston from 1968 until moving to Scott City in 1986, and then to Cape Girardeau in 1996. She had been a dietary assistant 15 years at Missouri Delta Medical Center in Sikeston. She was a member of First Free Will Baptist Church in Scott City.

Survivors include a son, Allen "Tiny" May of Cape Girardeau; a daughter, Lonette Gillean of Cape Girardeau; and a stepdaughter, Fran Francis of Little Rock, Ark.

She was preceded in death by a grandson.

Friends may call at Nunnelee Funeral Chapel in Sikeston after 11:30 a.m. Wednesday.

Funeral service will be at 1 p.m. Wednesday at the chapel, with the Revs. Frank Giunta and Robert Wright officiating. Burial will be in Garden of Memories Cemetery.
