VIRGINIA L. MCPHERSON

JACKSON -- Virginia Lee McPherson, 65, of Jackson and formerly of Scott City died Sunday, Dec. 17, 1995, at her home.

She was born June 21, 1930, at St. Louis, daughter of Otho Forister and Rose Neil Cozort. On March 25, 1950, she married Billy McPherson, who died Sept. 4, 1959.

She was a member of United Methodist Church.

Survivors include two sons, Billy Roger McPherson of Decatur, Ala., and Michael Richard McPherson of Longment, Colo.; a daughter, Alice Ireland of Jackson; a brother, Robert Forister of Bloomfield; and three grandchildren.

Visitation will be from 4-8 p.m. Tuesday at McCombs Funeral Home in Jackson, where funeral service will be at 1 p.m. Wednesday. The Rev. Don Covington will officiate, and burial will be in Lightner Cemetery at Scott City.
