Virginia L. Krokroskia, 72, of Cape Girardeau died Thursday, July 23, 1998, at Southeast Missouri Hospital. She was born July 13, 1926, in Picher, Okla., daughter of Clayton and Nancy Bond Nelums. She and Edwin J. Krokroskia were married April 20, 1945, in Columbus, Kan. He died Sept. 11, 1992...

Virginia L. Krokroskia, 72, of Cape Girardeau died Thursday, July 23, 1998, at Southeast Missouri Hospital.

She was born July 13, 1926, in Picher, Okla., daughter of Clayton and Nancy Bond Nelums. She and Edwin J. Krokroskia were married April 20, 1945, in Columbus, Kan. He died Sept. 11, 1992.

Krokroskia had lived in the Lead Belt area of Missouri most of her life.

Survivors include a daughter, Sandra Catron of Cape Girardeau; three sisters, Sue Brookshire and Shirley Reed of Picher, Geraldine Setser of Joplin; and a granddaughter.

She was preceded in death by three brothers and two sisters.

There is no service.

Ford and Sons Mt. Auburn Chapel was in charge of arrangements.
