SCOTT CITY -- Virginia Ida Odom, 69, Scott City Route 1, died Friday, Feb. 25, 1994, at St. Francis Medical Center.
She was born July 7, 1924, at Benton, daughter of Celestine and Amelia Bollinger Hahn. She and John A. Odom were married March 20, 1943, at Benton.
Odom retired as a machine operator at Florsheim Shoe Co. She was a member of St. Augustine Catholic Church in Kelso, and its Ladies Sodality.
Survivors include her husband; a son, John Odom of Scott City; a daughter, Delores Meisenheimer of Poplar Bluff; two brothers, Joe Hahn of Walnut Creek, Calif., John Hahn of Castro Valley, Calif.; two sisters, Frances Leible of Chaffee, Lucille Enderle of Scott City; five grandchildren, and two great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by a grandchild.
Friends may call at Amick-Burnett Funeral Home in Scott City after 4 p.m. Sunday. Parish prayers will be at 7:30.
Funeral mass will be at 10 a.m. Monday at St. Augustine Church. Msgr. John Westhues will officiate, with burial in Lightner Cemetery.
