SIKESTON -- Virginia Hunott, 77, died Sunday, March 5, 2000, at Missouri Delta Medical Center. She was born Aug. 5, 1922, in Chaffee, daughter of Henry Clay and Stella Drinkard Campbell. She and Philip H. "Buck" Hunott were married Aug. 20, 1942. He died July 28, 1982...

SIKESTON -- Virginia Hunott, 77, died Sunday, March 5, 2000, at Missouri Delta Medical Center.

She was born Aug. 5, 1922, in Chaffee, daughter of Henry Clay and Stella Drinkard Campbell. She and Philip H. "Buck" Hunott were married Aug. 20, 1942. He died July 28, 1982.

Hunott was a member of Murray Lane Baptist Church.

Survivors include a daughter, Phyllis Graham of Matthews; a son, Philip Hunott of Texas; and a grandson.

She was preceded in death by three brothers, three sisters and a daughter.

Friends may call from 5 to 8 p.m. today at Ponder Funeral Home.

Funeral will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday at the funeral home. The Rev. Dolan Rogers will officiate. Burial will be in Memorial Park Cemetery.
