JACKSON -- Virginia Hahs, 65, of Route 5 Jackson died Tuesday, Sept. 3, 1991 at Southeast Missouri Hospital in Cape Girardeau.
She was born Dec. 6, 1925 at Marble Hill, the daughter of Albert Schreiner and Florence Rothamel Schreiner.
On June 23, 1946, she married Leman Hahs. He survives.
In addition to her husband, she is survived by two daughters, Betty Hahs, Cape Girardeau, Jane Hall, Jackson; a brother, John R. Schreiner, Delwood; a sister, Mabel Gable, Chester, Va.; and two grandchildren, Chris and Heather Hall.
Hahs had lived in Jackson since 1934. She was a member of the First Presbyterian Church for 36 years.
She was employed by the International Shoe factory in Jackson for a number of years. For the past 17 years, she worked at Southeast Missouri Hospital.
Funeral service will be held Thursday at 11 a.m. at the First Presbyterian Church with the Rev. William Bernauer and the Rev. E.C. Brasington officiating. Burial will follow in Russell Heights Cemetery.
Friends may call from 4-8 p.m. today at McCombs Funeral Home. The body will be taken to the church at 10 a.m. Thursday.
