SIKESTON -- Virginia Pauline Feezor, 76, of Sikeston, formerly of Mississippi County, died Saturday, Aug. 10, 1996, at Southeast Missouri Hospital in Cape Girardeau.
She was born May 28, 1920 in Stuttgart, Ark., daughter of Walter and Rozella Swank Shively.
She married Lawrence Feezor on Jan. 11, 1941. He died May 10, 1967.
Feezor had lived in Mississippi County most of her life and was employed as a licensed practical nurse at Bertrand Nursing Center until her retirement. She was a member of Bethel Missionary Baptist Church in Sikeston.
She is survived by three sons: Bill Freezor of Charleston, Mike Freezor of Albuquerque, N.M. and Dennis Freezor of California, Mo.; three daughters: Anne Gore of Rector, Ark., Jeanie Shands of East Prairie and Sally Carlisle of Bertrand; 11 grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by a daughter and one brother.
Visitation will be after 5 p.m. today at McMikle Funeral Home in Charleston.
Service will be at 2 p.m. Monday at the funeral home with Rev. Jerry Adams, pastor of the Bethel Missionary Baptist Church of Sikeston, officiating. Burial will be in Oak Grove Cemetery near Charleston.
