DEXTER -- Funeral service for Virginia Brown of Dexter will be held at 1 p.m. today at Liberty General Baptist Church in Auburn Hills, Mich. The Rev. Bryan Johnson will officiate, with burial in Christian Memorial Cemetery in Rochester Hills, Mich. Voorhees, Siple and Summeford Funeral Home in Pontiac, Mich., is in charge of arrangements.
Watkins and Sons Funeral Home at Dexter was in charge of local arrangements.
Brown, 65, died Monday, April 3, 1995, at Dexter Memorial Hospital.
She was born Jan. 3, 1930, in St. Louis, daughter of George and Anna Gannon Goetmann.
Formerly of Pontiac, she had lived in Dexter five years. She was a charter member of Liberty Church.
Survivors include three sons, Robert and Michael Brown of Dexter, Bryan Brown of Pontiac; three daughters, Beverly Garrison, Mary Hazen and Alesia Brown of Pontiac; a brother, George Walsh; six sisters, Ida McCorory, Margurite Signaigo, Rose Wonderlich, Mary Gamber, Georgia Ford, Charlotte Faulkner, and 10 grandchildren.
