Virginia Blumenberg, 78, of Cape Girardeau died Tuesday, May 28, 2013, at the Lutheran Home.

She is survived by her husband of 51 years, Gene Blumenberg of Cape Girardeau; a daughter, Diana (Gene) Edwards of Thebes, Ill.; two sisters, Maxine Martin of Festus, Mo., and Patricia Malugen of Fenton, Mo.

The funeral will be at 2 p.m. today at Ford and Sons Mount Auburn Chapel, with the Rev. Gary Brothers officiating. Burial will be in Zion United Methodist Church Cemetery at Gordonville.

Visitation will be one hour before the service.
