JONESBORO, Ill. -- Virgie Mae Spurlock, 65, of Jonesboro died Saturday, March 3, 2001, at her home.
She was born Feb. 13, 1936, in Jonesboro, daughter of Wilson and Verna Gentry Webb. She and Frank Spurlock were married in 1975 in Jacksonville, Ill.
Spurlock was employed at Lincoln Square as a rehabilitation technician. She attended Lockard Chapel Baptist Church.
Survivors include her husband; three sons, Edward Clover and Stanley Fowler, both of Anna, Ill., and Scott Spurlock of Jonesboro; four brothers, Donald Webb of Anna, Bobby Webb of Percy, Ill., Joe Webb of Dongola, Ill., and Leon Webb of Atlanta; six sisters, Joyce Easton and Patsy Clutts, both of Murphysboro, Ill., Betty Gerbendine of Steelville, Ill., and Phyllis Webb, Helen Tompton and Lucille Eastwood, all of Anna; six grandchildren; and a great-granddaughter.
She was preceded in death by her parents, a son, a daughter, a brother and two sisters.
Friends may call from 5-8 p.m. Tuesday in the chapel of Hileman and Parr Funeral Services in Jonesboro.
Funeral will be at 1 p.m. Wednesday in the chapel. Burial will be in the Casper Cemetery.
