VIRGIE IVIE

BERTRAND -- Virgie Ivie, 87, of Bertrand, died Thursday, July 18, 1991, at Bertrand Nursing Facility. She was formerly of Anniston.

She was born Jan. 10, 1904, in Mississippi County, daughter of Tom and Sallie Easter.

Survivors include two sons, Jasper Easter of Charleston, Martin Easter of Karnak, Ill.; six grandchildren, and 13 great-grand-children.

She was preceded in death by three brothers and two sisters.

Funeral service was held Saturday at McMikle Funeral Chapel in Charleston. The Rev. Billy Joe Meeks officiated, with burial in Anniston Cemetery.
