ANNA, Ill. -- Violet Foreman Butts, 76, of Anna, died Friday, Oct. 20, 1995, at her home.
She was born Sept. 4, 1919, in Union County, daughter of David and Alice Newbold Miller.
She was married to Percy Foreman, who died in 1967. She later married Robert Butts, who died in 1993.
She was retired from the Anna Mental Health Center where she was a medical technician. She was a member of the Ware United Methodist Church.
Survivors include two daughters, Alice Boyd of Anna and Sydney Spencer of Powder Springs, Ga.; a brother, Francis Miller of Jonesboro, Ill.; three sisters, Serena Miller of Jonesboro, Fannie Miller of Dixon, Ill., and Margaret Karraker of Fairview Heights, Ill.; four grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by three brothers and a granddaughter.
Friends may call before the 1:30 p.m. funeral service today at the Crain Funeral Home in Anna.
The Revs. John Prather and Larry Miller will officiate, with burial in the Anna Cemetery.
