JACKSON -- Funeral Mass for Violet R. Elfrink of Jackson will be held at 10 a.m. Monday at Immaculate Conception Catholic Church. The Rev. Robert Landewe will officiate. Burial will be in St. John's Catholic Cemetery at Leopold.
Friends may call at McCombs Funeral Home in Jackson from 4-8 p.m. Sunday. Parish prayers will be at 7:30.
Elfrink, 83, died Thursday, July 8, 1999, at St. Francis Medical Center in Cape Girardeau.
She was born Nov. 11, 1915, in Nokomis, Ill., daughter of Hugo and Frances Broecker Stolz. She and Edward Elfrink were married June 26, 1934. He died April 26, 1990.
Elfrink was a member of Immaculate Church and its Quilting Club. She moved to Jackson in 1963 from Leopold.
Survivors include three daughters, Sister Maureen Elfrink of Santare'n Para', Brazil, Sylvia Niedbalski and Clarice Beussink of Jackson; three sons, Michael and Wayne Elfrink of Jackson, Matthew Elfrink of Cape Girardeau; 15 grandchildren; and 16 great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by a son, two grandchildren, three brothers, and two sisters.
