Vincent R. Connor, 83, of Cape Girardeau died Thursday, Nov. 21, 1996, at the Veteran's Home in Cape Girardeau. He was born in Merriam, Kan. and graduated from the University of Colorado in 1938 with a bachelor's degree in accounting and business administration. He was a veteran of the U.S. Army in World War II and a field office manager for Cape Construction Co. for 26 years before retiring in 1973...

Vincent R. Connor, 83, of Cape Girardeau died Thursday, Nov. 21, 1996, at the Veteran's Home in Cape Girardeau.

He was born in Merriam, Kan. and graduated from the University of Colorado in 1938 with a bachelor's degree in accounting and business administration. He was a veteran of the U.S. Army in World War II and a field office manager for Cape Construction Co. for 26 years before retiring in 1973.

He married Ruby W. Carman Dec. 13, 1941, and she survives him.

Graveside services will be 10 a.m. Saturday at Pleasant View Cemetery in Shawnee Kan. The Amos Family Chapel of Shawnee is in charge of arrangements.
