VIDA G. HEMMANN

JACKSON -- Funeral service for Vida G. Hemmann of Jackson will be held at 2 p.m. today at McCombs Funeral Chapel. The Rev. Robert Henrichs will officiate, with burial in Russell Heights Cemetery.

Friends may call at the funeral home from 8:30 a.m. to service time.

Hemmann, 89, died Wednesday, Aug. 10, 1994, at Deal Nursing Home.

She was born Dec. 20, 1904, in Marquand, daughter of Columbus N. and Elsie Killian Davis. She and Edwin Hemmann were married Oct. 31, 1937. He died Oct. 10, 1959.

Hemmann was a member of St. Paul Lutheran Church.

Survivors include two stepdaughters, Eunice Hoops of Oceanside, Calif., Verna Heimbaugh of St. Louis; a brother, Raymond Davis of Jackson; a sister, Christine Ellis of Cape Girardeau, and three stepgrandchildren.

She was preceded in death by a sister and four brothers.
