BLOOMFIELD -- Victoria McCollum, 72, of Bloomfield died Saturday, Jan. 20, 1996, at the Dexter Memorial Hospital.
She was born Dec. 22, 1923, at Clines Island, daughter of Arthur and Mary Mitchell Knight.
She was retired from Elder Manufacturing Co. after 32 years of service. She served as president of the Amalgamated Clothing Workers Union.
On Sept. 23, 1941, she married Billy McCollum. He died April 14, 1995.
She is survived by two sons, Steve McCollum of Bloomfield and Mike McCollum o
Jackson; two daughters, Ruth Ann McCollum and Loyce Bleichner, both of Benton, Ill.; a half-brother, Billy Knight of Whitewater; 11 grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.
Friends may call today at 1 p.m. at the Chiles-Cooper Funeral Home in Bloomfield.
Funeral service will be held today at 2 p.m. at the funeral home, with the Rev. Hank Foster officiating. Burial will follow in Gravel Hill Cemetery near Bloomfield.
