Victor Douglass, 53, of Jackson, died Wednesday, May 18, 2005, at his residence.
He was born June 25, 1952, at Thayer, Mo., son of Russell and Wilma "Jean" Bates Douglass. He and Linda Pearl Fields were married July 17, 1981 in Cape Girardeau. She preceded him in death on Oct. 10, 1991.
Douglass was a 1970 graduate of College High in Cape Girardeau. He was a warehouse supervisor for the former ABC Co. in Cape Girardeau and had most recently been a bus driver for Chateau Girardeau. He attended Cape First Church.
Survivors include his mother of Poplar Bluff, Mo.; three sons, Joshua Douglass of Cape Girardeau and Matthew and Benjamin Douglass of Jackson; a brother, Garnett Douglass of Memphis, Tenn.; a sister, Linda Goldschmidt of Fisk, Mo.; and one granddaughter.
A graveside service will be held Friday at 2 p.m. at Russell Heights Cemetery in Jackson. The Rev. Stephen Francis will officiate.
