VESTA MANUS

JONESBORO, Ill. -- Vesta Manus, 81, lifelong resident of Union County, died Tuesday, Oct. 15, 1996, at Union County Hospital in Anna.

She was born Dec. 1, 1914, in Union County, daughter of John L. and Martha E. Lasley Manus.

Manus was retired from Florsheim Shoe Co.

Surviving are nieces and nephews, including Linda Egner of Springfield; Clifford Manus of Anna and Darrell Manus of Jonesboro.

Friends may call at Hileman and Parr Funeral Home in Jonesboro from 4-8 p.m. today.

Funeral service will be at 1 p.m. Friday at the funeral home, with the Rev. Jim Stamp officiating. Burial will be in Jonesboro Cemetery.
