FRUITLAND -- Verona E. Smith, 66, Fruitland Route 1, died Monday, March 15, 1993, at St. Francis Medical Center in Cape Girardeau.

She was born Aug. 25, 1926, in Duluth, Minn., daughter of Edward D. and Virginia Neher Boehm. She and Douglas Smith were married Dec. 30, 1963, in Duluth.

Survivors include her husband; a son, Stephanie Williams of Chaffee; a brother, Edward Boehm Jr. of Deluth; a sister, Vivian Hoff of Minneapolis, Minn., and two grandchildren.

There is no visitation or service.

Ford and Sons Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
