JACKSON -- Funeral service for Vernon R. Stinebrook of Caseyville, Ill., was held Wednesday at Trinity Pentecostal Church there. The Rev. Willis Clark officiated, with burial in Gravel Hill Cemetery in St. Francis, Ark.
Kurrus Funeral Home in Belleville, Ill., was in charge of arrangements.
Stinebrook, 70, died Monday, Nov. 20, 1995, at Memorial Hospital in Belleville.
He was the son of Earl and Dorothy George Stinebrook. He married the former Florence K. Hackmann.
Stinebrook was a mechanic at Sunset Ford 25 years, and owned Stinebrook Auto Repair 23 years. He was a member of Trinity Pentecostal Church. He served in the Signal Corps during World War II.
Survivors include his wife; two daughters, Sandra Wrigley of Collinsville, Ill., Sharon Kugler of O'Fallon, Ill.; two sons, Steve Bristoe of Vandalia, Ill., Stuart Quevreaux of Collinsville; three brothers, Neeley Stinebrook of Piggott, Ark., Clinton Stinebrook of Millstadt, Ill., George Stinebrook of Carthage; a sister, Catherine Stevens of Jackson; eight grandchildren, and a great-granddaughter.
He was preceded in death by a son and sister.
