SIKESTON -- Vernon Frank Murr, 77, of Sikeston, died Sunday, Jan. 23, 1994, at the Missouri Delta Medical Center in Sikeston.
He was born April 2, 1916, at Charleston, son of Dave and Mary Speck Murr.
Murr had been employed with Foster Brothers in St. Louis until his retirement in 1972. He lived in Sikeston for the past two years.
Survivors include six sons, Vernon Murr Jr., Edward Murr and Russell Murr, all of Sikeston, Larry Murr of Old Appleton, Michael Murr of New Madrid, Kenny Murr; three daughters, Sharon Mitchell of Dalton, Ga., Carol Murr of the state of Arkansas, Deborah Howl of St. Louis; two sisters, Mary Stubblefield of Cahokia, Ill., Nellie Passley of Charleston; 12 grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.
Friends may call from 9:30 a.m. to the time of funeral services Tuesday at the McMikle Funeral Home in Charleston.
Funeral services will be at 11 a.m. Tuesday at the McMikle Funeral Home in Charleston.
Burial will follow in the Oak Grove Cemetery.
