Vernita Elizabeth Lowe, 47, 2007 New Madrid, died Monday, June 27, 1994, at Southeast Missouri Hospital. She was born July 26, 1946, in Oran, daughter of Lawrence and Clara Glastetter Westrich. She and Robert C. Lowe were married Dec. 26, 1967. He died Nov. 30, 1976...

Vernita Elizabeth Lowe, 47, 2007 New Madrid, died Monday, June 27, 1994, at Southeast Missouri Hospital.

She was born July 26, 1946, in Oran, daughter of Lawrence and Clara Glastetter Westrich. She and Robert C. Lowe were married Dec. 26, 1967. He died Nov. 30, 1976.

Lowe was a dietitian at Gibson Recovery Center, and member of St. Mary's Cathedral.

Survivors include a son, Robert Lowe of Cape Girardeau; a daughter, Theresa Luttrell of Cape Girardeau; her father of Jackson; a brother, James Westrich of Cape Girardeau; two sisters, Doris Weber of Scott City, and Patricia Weber of St. Charles.

Friends may call at Cracraft-Miller Funeral Home from 6-9 p.m. today, with parish prayers at 7.

Funeral mass will be at 10 a.m. Thursday at St. Mary's Church, with the Rev. Glenn Eftink officiating. Burial will be in Memorial Park.
