VERNA T. CISSELL

PERRYVILLE -- Funeral mass for Mrs. Verna T. Cissell of Perryville will be held at 10 a.m. Saturday at St. Vincent's Church. The Rev. Henry Grodecki will officiate, with burial in Mt. Hope Cemetery.

Friends may call at Young and Sons Funeral Home after 2 p.m. today, and until 9:45 a.m. Saturday. A parish wake service will be held at 7 tonight.

Mrs. Cissell, 76 years old, died Wednesday, Dec. 12, 1990, at Southeast Missouri Hospital.

She was born July 8, 1914, in Perry County, daughter of Arthur and Florence Tucker Taylor. She married Barnwell John Cissell July 22, 1933.

Mrs. Cissell was a member of St. Vincent's Church.

Survivors include her husband; three daughters, Audrey Pelletier of New Bedford, Mass., Joanne Rollet and Donna Dobsch of Perryville; five brothers, Clayton, Paul and Ken Cissell of the State of California, Val Cissell of Perryville, Russell Cissell of St. Louis; two sisters, Mary Murphy and Frances Moore of St. Louis; 10 grandchildren, and 11 great-grandchildren.
