VERN DOLLE

JACKSON -- Funeral service for Vern Dolle of Jackson will be held at 2 p.m. Friday at McCombs Funeral Chapel. The Rev. J. Michael Davis will officiate, with burial in Memorial Park in Cape Girardeau.

Friends may call at the funeral home from 4-8 p.m. today.

Dolle, 85, died Tuesday, March 28, 1995, at St. Francis Medical Center in Cape Girardeau.

He was born Aug. 5, 1909, at Dolle's Mill north of Sedgewickville, son of John and Kitty Wilson Dolle. He and Leora Seabaugh were married Dec. 24, 1935.

Dolle worked at the Ford assembly plant in Detroit, Mich., and farmed 59 years in the Sedgewickville area, retiring in 1984. He moved to Jackson in 1987 from his farm. He was a member of Sedgewickville United Methodist Church.

Survivors include his wife; a brother, Ted Dolle of Jackson, and a sister, Helen Sparks of Marquand.

He was preceded in death by two brothers.
