SCOTT CITY -- Verlon G. Corn, 59, of Scott City, died Wednesday, May 3, 1995, at St. Francis Medical Center in Cape Girardeau.

He was born Dec. 16, 1935, at Ancell, now Scott City, son of Youal and Lula Corn.

He worked for the Central Mine Equipment Co.

Survivors include his mother, Lula Corn of Scott City; two daughters, Kathleen Latta and Lisa Corn; two brothers, Alvin Harty of Moline, Ill., and Ray Corn of St. Louis; a sister, Carol Corn of Scott City; and a granddaughter.

Friends may call from noon to 9 p.m. today at Fey Funeral Home, 4100 Lemay Ferry Road in St. Louis.

The funeral will at 1 p.m. Monday at the funeral home. Burial will be in Mount Hope Cemetery in St. Louis.
