Verdell Wolters

PERRYVILLE, Mo. -- Verdell Wolters, 75, died Thursday, Nov. 18, 2004, at Perry Oaks Manor in Perryville.

She was born July 19, 1928, in Randolph County, Ill., daughter of Martin and Hulda Weaver Brockmeyer. She married Edgar Wolters, who preceded her in death.

Survivors include a son, Steve Wolters of Perryville; two brothers, Marlin Brockmeyer of Steeleville, Ill., Rayburn Brockmeyer of Percy, Ill.; six sisters, Lavern Bockhorn of Sparta, Ill., Wilma Westerman and Darlene Mayer of Steeleville, Bernadine Loucks of Chester, Ill., Anita Miller of Campbell Hill, Ill., Ruby Mattingly of New Baden, Ill.; and a grandson.

She was preceded in death by her parents.

Friends may call at Miller Family Funeral Home from 5 to 8 p.m. today, and Saturday from 6:30 a.m. until time of service.

The funeral will be at 1 p.m. Saturday at the funeral home, with the Rev. Matthew Marks officiating. Burial will be in Paradise Cemetery at Bremen, Ill.
