KARNAK, Ill. -- Vera Yunkus, 69, of Benton, Ill., formerly of Karnak, died Wednesday, July 16, 1997, at her home.

She married Anthony Yunkus, who preceded her in death.

Yunkus was a lab technician at Franklin County Hospital. She was a member of Karnak Baptist Church.

Survivors include three sons, Richard and Steven Lang of Benton, Barry Lang of Franklin, Pa.; her mother of Benton; and a grandson.

She was preceded in death by her father and a sister.

Funeral service will be at 1:30 p.m. Saturday at Wilson Funeral Home in Karnak, with the Rev. Robert Stubblefield officiating. Burial will be in Anderson Cemetery at Boaz.

Friends may call at the funeral home from 10 a.m. to service time.
