VERA DOVER

ANNA, Ill. -- Vera M. Dover, 77, of Anna died Friday, Oct. 13, 2000, at Southeast Missouri Hospital in Cape Girardeau.

She was born March 26, 1923, in Alexander County, Ill., daughter of John Frederick and Edna Marie Garner McKee. She and Cleveland R. "Pat" Dover were married Sept. 26, 1940, in Cape Girardeau. He died April 5, 1989.

She was a member of First Baptist Church in Jonesboro, Ill., a retired support worker at Choate Center and a member of AFCME Retirees Local. She retired in 1989 after 30 years of service at the Choate Center.

Survivors include a daughter, Carol Ann Ralls of Anna; two brothers, Vernon McKee and Leland McKee, both of Thebes, Ill.; and a grandson.

Friends may call after 10 a.m. today at First Baptist Church in Jonesboro.

Funeral will be at 11 a.m. at the church, with the Rev. Joe Aldridge officiating. Burial will be in Rose Hill Cemetery in Jonesboro.

Lutz and Rendleman Funeral Home in Anna is in charge of arrangements.
