VERA DOVER

She was born March 26, 1923, in Alexander County, Ill., daughter of John Frederick and Edna McKee. She and Cleveland R. "Pat" Dover were married Sept. 26, 1940, in Cape Girardeau. He died April 5, 1989.

Mrs. Dover was a member of the First Baptist Church in Jonesboro, Ill., a retired support worker at the Choate Center and a member of AFCME Retirees local. She retired from the Choate Center in 1989 after 30 years.

Survivors include one daughter, Carol Ann Ralls of Anna; one grandson; and two brothers, Vernon McKee and Leland McKee, both of Thebes, Ill.

Friends may call from 6-8 p.m. today at Lutz and Rendleman Funeral Home in Anna and after 10 a.m. Monday at the First Baptist Church in Jonesboro.

Funeral will be at 11 a.m. Monday at the church, with the Rev. Joe Aldridge officiating. Burial will be in Rose Hill Cemetery at Thebes.
