VERA CONRAD

SIKESTON -- Vera M. Conrad, 86, of Sikeston died Sunday, June 6, 1999, at Missouri Delta Medical Center.

She was born Aug. 25, 1912, in Bollinger County, daughter of Arthur R. "Lando" and Ida Murray Conrad.

Conrad attended Cane Creek School in Cape Girardeau County.

She was a housekeeper and cook at Southeast Missouri State University, and had been a private housekeeper and child care provider She was a member of First Presbyterian Church in Jackson.

Survivors include a sister, Ruth Whitworth of Springfield; and a brother, Myron Conrad of Higgensville.

She was preceded in death by a brother and a sister.

Funeral will be at 10 a.m. Friday at Lorberg Memorial Funeral Chapel in Cape Girardeau. The Rev. Grant Gillard will officiate. Burial will be in Whitewater Cemetery.

Friends may call at the chapel Friday from 8 a.m. until service time.
