MATTHEWS -- Funeral service for Velma Mae Keller of Matthews will be held at 2 p.m. today at Watkins and Sons Funeral Chapel in Parma, with the Rev. Johnie Lemmons officiating. Burial will be in Maple Cemetery at Caruthersville.
Keller, 82, died Wednesday, May 4, 1994, at Southeast Missouri Hospital in Cape Girardeau.
She was born Nov. 21, 1911, in Yell County, Ark., daughter of Charles Franklin and Martha Alice Brown Maronay. She and Robert C. Keller were married Feb. 10, 1930, in Blytheville, Ark. He died March 24, 1988.
Survivors include a son, Bobby Keller of Matthews; four daughters, Loeta Morgan of Parma, Lillian Foster of Memphis, Tenn., Edith Harrison of Eureka, Lorece Starkey of Gonzales, La.; two sisters, Fay Tilimon and Relida Tucker of Olive Branch, Miss.; nine grandchildren, including Robert Tinker of Sikeston whom she reared, and 12 great-grandchildren.
