VELMA GREER MITCHELL

HEMET, Calif. -- Velma Greer Mitchell, 72, of Hemet died Thursday, Aug. 21, 1997.

Funeral service was held in Westminster, Calif., last Monday. She was buried in Westminster.

She was born July 24, 1925, near Sikeston, daughter of Albert and Nora Greer.

Survivors include her husband, Norman Mitchell of Hemet; a daughter, Peggy Tettijohn of Huntington Beach, Calif.; two sisters, Elizabeth Blackwell and Glenda Rogers, both of Cape Girardeau; and two grandchildren.

Four brothers and a sister preceded her in death.
