Velma Frymire

Velma D. Frymire, 77, of Cape Girardeau died Wednesday, April 28, 2004, at St. Francis Medical Center.

She was born Nov. 8, 1926, at Grassy, Mo., daughter of Charles and Della Robins Hovis. She and Troy Frymire were married May 15, 1943. He died May 29, 1999.

Survivors include two sons, Howard Frymire of Cape Girardeau, Tony Frymire of Brownsville, Texas; a daughter, Glenda Jones of Cape Girardeau; a sister, Lorene Phillips of Advance, Mo.; 13 grandchildren; and 17 great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by three daughters and two brothers.

Friends may call at Liley Funeral Home in Marble Hill, Mo., from 5 to 8 p.m. today.

The funeral will be at 10 a.m. Saturday at the funeral home, with the Rev. Gene Robbins and Scott Frymire officiating. Burial will be in Grassy Cemetery.
