ORAN -- Funeral Mass for Velma Ida Eftink of Oran will be held at 10 a.m. today at Guardian Angel Catholic Church, with the Rev. Normand Varone officiating. Burial will be in the church cemetery.
Amick-Burnett Funeral Chapel at Oran is in charge of arrangements.
Eftink, 78, died Wednesday, May 22, 1996, at St. Francis Medical Center in Cape Girardeau.
She was born Feb. 17, 1918, at Oran, daughter of Albert and Rosalia Welter Dannenmueller. She and Frank John Eftink were married May 5, 1936. He died Dec. 18, 1970.
Eftink retired as an inspector at International Hat Co. She was a member of Guardian Angel Catholic Church and St. Ann's Sodality.
Survivors include a son, Norman Eftink of Oran; two daughters, Rose Birkner of Ballwin, Doris Graviett of Oran; three brothers, Cornelius Dannenmueller of Scott City, Leroy Dannenmueller of Benton, Alfred Dannenmueller of Pittsburgh, Pa.; four sisters, Lavana LeGrand of Benton, Viola Dirnberger and Mary Ann Dannenmueller of Oran, Alberta Lloyd of St. Peters; 11 grandchildren, and six great-grandchildren.
