Veda Benline

PERRYVILLE, Mo. -- Veda Mary Benline, 86, of Perryville died Saturday, Nov. 20, 2004, at Perry County Nursing Home.

She was born Aug. 3, 1918, at Prairie du Rocher, Ill., daughter of Ralph and Laura Queffemme Donjon. She was a a member of St. Vincent de Paul Catholic Church and the Daughters of Isabella.

She and Roscoe H. Benline were married Dec. 17, 1935. He died May 25, 1987.

Survivors include a son, William Benline of Perryville; a daughter, Melba Ruebke of Steeleville, Ill.; a sister, Donna Beinlein of Perryville; nine grandchildren, 17 great-grandchildren; and a great-great-granddaughter.

She was also preceded in death by her parents and three brothers.

Friends may call from 4 to 8 p.m. today and from 6:30 a.m. until 10 a.m. Monday at Young & Sons Chapel in Perryville.

The funeral will be at 10 a.m. at the funeral home, with the Rev. Kevin Fausz officiating. Burial will be in Mount Hope Cemetery.
