MARBLE HILL, Mo. -- Vallie A. Cobb, 89, of St. Louis died Sunday, June 23, 2002, at her home. She was born Feb. 26, 1913, near Marble Hill, daughter of Wyatt C. and Lora E. Winchester Snider. She and Luther W. Cobb were married Dec. 25, 1931. He died Aug. 26, 1978...

MARBLE HILL, Mo. -- Vallie A. Cobb, 89, of St. Louis died Sunday, June 23, 2002, at her home.

She was born Feb. 26, 1913, near Marble Hill, daughter of Wyatt C. and Lora E. Winchester Snider. She and Luther W. Cobb were married Dec. 25, 1931. He died Aug. 26, 1978.

Survivors include a daughter, Juanita Walker of Columbia, Ill.; seven grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren; and three great-great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by a brother, a sister, and a grandchild.

Friends may call at Liley Funeral Home in Marble Hill after 11 a.m. today.

Funeral will be at 1 p.m. today at the funeral home, with the Rev. Paul Rose officiating. Burial will be in Bollinger County Memorial Park Cemetery.
