VALIE WILLIAMS

WYATT -- Valie Marie "Ella Mae" Williams, 67, of Wyatt died Monday, June 22, 1998, at Missouri Delta Medical Center in Sikeston.

She was born April 11, 1931, in Benton County, Tenn., daughter of Raymond and Annie Monday Tubbs. She and Ora Fay Williams were married May 3, 1949. He died May 10, 1973.

Williams lived in Mississippi County most of her life, and had worked at Brown Shoe Co. in Charleston.

Survivors include two sons, Stephen Williams of Lakeland, Fla., Michael Williams of Granite City, Ill.; a daughter, Charlotte Williford of Flowood; four brothers, Parker Tubbs of Dale, Ind., Robert and Danny Tubbs of Granite City, Ill., Roger Tubbs of St. Louis; a sister, Mary Eddleman of Granite City; eight grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by a daughter.

Friends may call at McMikle Funeral Home in Charleston after 9:30 a.m. Wednesday.

Funeral will be at 1 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home, with the Rev. Bill Summers officiating. Burial will be in IOOF Cemetery near Charleston.
