Valetta Robinson

PATTON, Mo. -- Valetta Gertrude Robinson, age 94, of Patton entered into rest on Saturday, Oct. 21, 2017, at the Jackson Manor nursing home in Jackson.

She was born on July 31, 1923, in Flat River, Missouri, daughter of Arthur and Gertrude Slover Heitman. She and William Robinson were united in marriage on Oct. 20, 1945, and he passed away July 23, 1999.

Survivors include her son Richard (Deborah) Robinson of St. Louis; daughter, Kathy (Robert Smith) Berkbigler of Patton; four grandchildren, Christopher Robinson, Matthew Robinson, Sharon Betts and Karen Brown, and four great-grandchildren, Alissa Robinson, Abigail Robinson, Brady Robinson and Vivian Robinson.

She was preceded in death by her parents; husband; infant son, Kent William, and two brothers, Arthur and Eugene Heitman.

Visitation will be held at Liley Funeral Home in Patton on Wednesday from 10 to 11:30 a.m.

Funeral service will be conducted 11:30 a.m. Wednesday at the funeral home, with the Rev. Roger Cary officiating. Burial will be in Patton Cemetery in Patton.

In lieu of flowers contributions may be made to a charity of the donor's choice.
