PERRYVILLE, Mo. -- Valeria M. Pecaut, 77, of Perryville died Friday, Nov. 5, 2004, at Christian Hospital NE in St. Louis.
She was born Feb. 1, 1927, in Perry County, daughter of Vincent and Helen Sauer Leible Sr. She and Clarence T. Pecaut Jr. were married April 12, 1947. He died Dec. 3, 2003.
Pecaut was formerly a manager of General Dollar Store in Perryville. She was a member of the St. Vincent de Paul Catholic Church in Perryville and the Ruby Red Angels in Florissant, Mo.
Survivors include a son, Mike Pecaut of Dallas, Texas; a daughter, Sharon Heien of Florissant, Mo.; two brothers, Vincent Leible, Lucius Leible, both of Perryville; a sister, Alma Moll of Perryville; four grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents, a son, a brother and a sister.
Friends may call from 4 to 9 p.m. today and from 6:30 to 9:30 a.m. Monday at Young and Sons Chapel. Parish wake will be at 7 p.m. today. Rosary will be at 8:15 a.m. Monday.
Funeral Mass will be at 10 a.m. Monday at St. Vincent de Paul Catholic Church, with the Rev. Kevin Fausz officiating. Burial will be in Mount Hope Cemetery.
